ABOUT ME

Ever since I was a little girl I stayed up past my bedtime with my Dad, to watch films like; Double Indemnity, Sunset Boulevard, Jezebel or any Bette Davis movie…she was my dad’s favorite. I was mesmerized with that world.

While most children watched the after school special I was racing home to see Splendor in the Grass for Natalie Wood week. I laughed with Lucille Ball, I imitated Carol Burnett and when I was 13 I saw my first Broadway Show, A Chorus Line.

All I wanted to do was run up on the stage and I knew that being an actor was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

From that point, I did become involved with theatre and classes. Life sidetracked me for a while but eventually I moved into Manhattan and went to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

For years I studied and worked and followed my dream. I met my husband while pursuing that dream and he too, is an actor. After having our daughter, I thought it best to take a break while she was attending school. She was my only child and I felt very strongly about being present and available to her during those years.

Since then I wrote my first short play, “For My Daughter” which was published, wrote a short film, “Crumb Cake”, which is touring the film festival circuit and also been nominated for several awards and acted in several short & feature films; “Meditation”, “Forgive Me Father”, “Evil Insight” to name a few. As I continue this next chapter I will always study, explore and create to be the best version of myself.
